Robert Lewandowski found some time to give an interview to TVN24. There, he touched on a topic that has long been a subject of gossip sites and some fans: bachata, his wife's favorite dance, which she often showcases on social media.
On Anna Lewandowska's Instagram and TikTok profiles, many videos of her dancing bachata can be seen. Some internet users claim that certain dance poses are inappropriate. Anna, the wife of the Barcelona player, has not commented on the controversy surrounding her. Unlike her husband, who recently expressed a firm opinion.
In an interview with Monika Olejnik, the national team captain admitted that Poles overreact to Lewandowska's bachata performances.
The culture of Spaniards is different, and obviously, when you live in Poland and don't have the knowledge or experience, you tend to see things in black and white [...] We're not a laid-back nation; we're more uptight
- Lewandowski said, declaring that he has no problem with his wife's passion.
He then added that he has tried his hand at the Latin dance himself, which, as it turned out, positively impacted his marital relationship. - I also practiced and participated in it. This dance was another step in our relationship, helping us find something that affects us even more positively - he said.
In early February, in an interview with Foot Truck, Lewandowski shared a similar opinion regarding his wife's sensual, Latin dance moves. - When someone sees it for the first time, they might say: What's going on? I've been involved from the beginning, so I understood what it's all about - he explained.
In the TVN24 interview, Robert Lewandowski was also asked about the toughest question his older daughter has asked him. - Recently, she came home from school, and her friends asked her whether she prefers Lewandowski or Messi. There was also the topic that she might not be aware of this yet, but she soon will be. I have to get her used to it. She needs to know how to handle not only positive situations but also negative ones because there will likely be some - the footballer said.
