Recipe for fries made from boiled potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 5 large potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Oil for frying

Preparation Method:

1. Peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces, and boil them in salted water until soft.

2. Drain the boiled potatoes and press them through a ricer to get a smooth mash.

3. Add olive oil, salt, sweet paprika, garlic powder, and pepper to the potato mash. Mix thoroughly.

4. Transfer the potato mixture to a plastic bag. Roll out the mixture into an even layer about 1 cm thick. Carefully cut strips from the layer to form the shape of fries.

5. Heat oil in a deep pan or pot to a temperature of 180°C.

6. Fry the fries in batches until they are golden and crispy. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
