Stuffed eggs always make an impression during Easter, but these chick-like eggs bring true delight. They look so wonderful that it almost feels wrong to eat them. And it should be noted that they taste just as good as they look. How to make them? Very simply!

These eggs look like cute little chicks, thanks to the mayonnaise filling. Preparing eggs in this way is not complicated at all, though it may seem so at first. The most challenging part might be boiling the eggs perfectly hard, as it doesn’t always go smoothly. After that, it’s just a matter of preparing the filling and decorating the treats. The final result is truly impressive.

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 12 allspice berries
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • A piece of red pepper
  • A few sprigs of parsley
  • Salt and pepper

Stuffed Chick Eggs for Easter: Preparation Method

Start by taking the eggs out of the fridge so they can reach room temperature. Place them in a pot and cover them with cold water. Add a pinch of salt and bring the water to a boil. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat and cook the eggs for about 8-10 minutes. Next, remove them from the boiling water, cover them with cold water, and peel off the shells.

Trim the bottom of the egg whites slightly so that the "chicks" can stand upright. Also, cut off the top part. For simplicity, you can do this with a straight cut, but if you want the eggs to make an even bigger impression, cut them in a zigzag pattern. Carefully remove the yolks from the center and transfer them to a bowl. Mix them with mayonnaise, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Do this with a fork, mashing the yolk at the same time.

Transfer the smooth mixture to a piping bag. This will make filling the egg whites much easier and more aesthetically pleasing. Place the cut "hats" back on top of the filled eggs. Use allspice berries to create the chick's eyes, and cut out a small beak and feet from the red pepper. Parsley leaves can be used as wings. This beautiful and tasty decoration is ready to be placed on the Easter table!
