"Got Talent" is undoubtedly one of the most popular talent shows in television history. Although it originated in the UK, local versions have been produced in over 60 countries worldwide. In Poland, the show debuted in mid-September 2008, making a huge impact among viewers. Since then, millions of fans have eagerly followed the contestants' journeys from auditions to the grand finale.
Over the years, many participants on "Got Talent" have instantly won the hearts of both viewers and judges. For some, it was a ticket to the world of show business and a successful career, while others faded into obscurity after the show ended. Among those who made an absolute sensation and are still fondly remembered today are the DJs from Prisoners Show.
At their audition in 2016, they appeared dressed as babies from prison, in reference to the group's name. "Oh my God, this is horrible," said Agnieszka Chylińska when they first walked on stage, but after just a few beats, she let herself be carried away by the music. "German techno, I love it," she said, swaying to the rhythm.
It only took a few minutes for the singer, along with Agustin Egurrola, to jump out of their seats and start dancing, even on the judges' table. "The judges were swept away," said Szymon Hołownia, watching from backstage. Basically, everyone in the studio, except for Małgorzata Foremniak, who kept a stern face, seemed to be enjoying themselves, and the entire show was mentioned several times during subsequent editions of "Got Talent."
The video of Prisoners Show's performance was also posted on the official "Got Talent" YouTube channel (you can watch it here), drawing no less admiration from internet users. In 7 years, it has been viewed over 77 million times, and that number continues to grow. Similarly, the number of comments continues to increase, with viewers sharing their impressions. They emphasize that such an original idea has not been seen since, and they openly admit that they occasionally return to this video.
It's 2024, and I'm still watching this.
This never gets old.
I can watch this non-stop.
