"Top Model" is a reality show based on the American format "America's Next Top Model," which has been produced by TVN in Poland for nearly a decade. Each season features many aspiring models who, under the guidance of a jury (consisting of Joanna Krupa, Katarzyna Sokołowska, Marcin Tyszka, and Dawid Woliński), strive to make their mark in the industry. They are supported by millions of viewers who closely follow every stage of their challenges, both on the photoshoot set and the runway.
The high viewership of "Top Model" led TVN to decide on producing a 13th edition, which will debut on September 4, 2024, at 9:30 PM. The preview suggests that the new season will feature numerous changes. One of them is a new co-host who will join Michał Piróg. Sofia Konecka, a finalist from a previous season, will support the contestants at every stage of the show. But this is not the only exciting news and surprises in store.
According to the portal Jastrząb Post, the latest edition of "Top Model" will feature a participant who competed in the Tokyo Olympic Games. The athlete in question is sprinter Tymoteusz Zimny, who participated in the Olympics as a reserve runner. The 26-year-old athlete has many other achievements to his name, including several gold and silver medals in prestigious tournaments.
In 2015, Zimny reached the semifinals at the World Youth Championships, and the following year, he earned the same title in the 400 meters at the World Junior Championships. In 2017, he competed in the European Junior Championships in Grosseto, winning silver in the 400 meters and bronze in the relay.
