Unidentified Object in Polish Airspace: Operational Command Says It Is Unlikely to Be a Missile

In the afternoon, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces held a press briefing. During the briefing, General Maciej Klisz informed the media that at 6:43 AM, Polish airspace had been breached. The unidentified object entered Polish territory near the Ukrainian city of Chervonohrad.

The object was confirmed by at least three radar stations. I had full control of the object, was ready to shoot it down, and was in contact with Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and the Chief of the General Staff (General Wiesław Kukuła)

- he stated.

- Based on its characteristics, it is not a missile. It is most likely an unmanned aerial vehicle, which I classify as a UAP (unidentified aerial phenomenon) according to standard procedures - General Klisz noted.
