TikToker "@chaos.to.sanity" found a seemingly "innocent" T-shirt with a strawberry in one of the popular retail chains. However, she was outraged by the text she noticed on the clothing. In the video she posted on TikTok, she shared her thoughts. As she emphasized, she is not overly sensitive about children's clothing, but in this case, she was very disgusted by her discovery.
On one side of the T-shirt was an illustration of a strawberry with the phrases "the perfect treat" and "a little burst of sweet joy". The most upsetting text, however, was on the other side of the T-shirt: "Bite. A burst of sweet pleasure, making it the perfect summer snack". The TikToker claimed that the wording on the T-shirt had an evident sexual undertone. It's worth noting that in English, "snack" - the word used in the original text - can be slang for an attractive person. Considering that the T-shirt was intended for a little girl, it’s easy to understand the concerned mother.
"I would never let my daughters wear such clothing. Is it just me, or is something really wrong with this?" - she asked her followers. The response from internet users was swift. Interestingly, the opinions were very divided. "I'm shocked. Who buys such clothes for a child?", "You're overreacting. It's just a strawberry", "Parents, wake up, because not everyone looks at your children in the same way. Even if it’s just a T-shirt with a strawberry for a child, for an adult, it could mean something completely different. Open your eyes" - read the comments.

Interestingly, the video of the outraged TikToker quickly reached the store where the T-shirt was being sold. The retail chain removed the item from the shelves and responded to the allegations that the text on the T-shirt could be interpreted ambiguously.
