Klaudia Antos, known to the Polish audience from the 9th season of "You Can Dance", has developed her career in Los Angeles and has been working with top international music stars for years. In 2020, she performed alongside Jennifer Lopez during the Super Bowl Halftime Show. In a conversation with Żurnalista, she discussed J.Lo's quirks and what comes to mind when thinking of the pop icon.
"She Has Insecurities"
At the start, the dancer pointed out that Jennifer Lopez is "definitely insecure". When asked by Żurnalista why she thought so, she responded: "No one loves her as much as she loves herself." Elaborating on the subject, Antos added: "She would give me these little jabs in the back, and I’d wonder, if you say you like me so much, why are you treating me this way? It's those little things".
She recounted an incident that happened during a costume fitting. During rehearsals, the dancers always wear black to ensure no one stands out, as everyone is supposed to look the same. However, when they were fitting the costumes for the actual performance, the artist has to approve them. Jennifer Lopez, as usual, took her place in the center of the room, but when it was time for Klaudia to try on her outfit, J.Lo refused to look at her.
She says, 'Okay, everyone is changing, I want to see everyone, but not Klaudia.' So, I go to the creative director and say, 'Hey, what's the problem? Am I fired, not dancing, not performing?' And he says, 'No, Jennifer just doesn’t want to see you in that outfit right now because she’s afraid of how you’ll look in it'

"She Respects Me as a Dancer"
Antos emphasized that while J.Lo respects her as a dancer and has involved her in multiple projects, there were occasional tensions. "Sometimes, I’d wear a costume that showed a bit more of my body, and she’d say, 'Okay, I approve everyone’s outfit, but we need to adjust Klaudia’s neckline, or her pants, or something else'" - she explained. Antos concluded, "She respects me as a dancer and always said she liked the way I dance because she hired me for so many big productions, but when it comes to woman-to-woman relations, she was jealous".
The Instagram post by Żurnalista received numerous comments from users. "Lopez is known for treating other women badly. I came across an interview where a girl said she was fired from a restaurant at her request because J.Lo didn’t like her," one person wrote. Others added, "Not many people are brave enough these days to say what they really think" and "I wonder how someone as beautiful as J.Lo could be insecure".
