It was the seventh minute of the match between Real Betis and RCD Mallorca, closing out the sixth round of La Liga. That’s when 28-year-old Giovani Lo Celso, a 59-time Argentina international, received the ball about 40 meters out. He ran several meters before unleashing a strike from over 20 meters. What a Goal by Lo Celso! "Hats Off"

"What a strike, hats off to Giovani Lo Celso. His third goal this season, and undoubtedly the most beautiful. Brilliant play from the player who has returned to Real Betis. A highlight of the match right at the start. At this time, people aren’t usually drinking coffee, but we got a strong dose of caffeine with Lo Celso’s shot. Perfect placement, brilliantly done. I’ve seen plenty of goals in this round, but this one was the most beautiful, simply stunning," praised the commentators on Eleven Sports.

The visitors quickly equalized, though, just 80 seconds later! The play started from a long pass by Samu Costa from his own half. Canadian Cyle Larin received the ball just outside the penalty area, laying it off perfectly to an unmarked Daniel Rodriguez in the box, who slotted it in from around 11 meters into the far corner for the equalizer.

In the third minute of added time, Valery was the quickest to react after a corner and, with a precise left-footed shot from 13 meters out, scored the winning goal for the visitors.

With this victory, RCD Mallorca moved up to sixth place in the standings with 11 points. Real Betis now sits in 11th place with eight points. FC Barcelona leads the table with a perfect record of six wins.

In the next round, Real Betis will play away at Las Palmas on Thursday, September 26 (7 PM), while RCD Mallorca will face Real Valladolid away the following day (9 PM).

Three La Liga matches are scheduled for Tuesday: Sevilla vs. Real Valladolid and Valencia vs. CA Osasuna (both at 7 PM), and Real Madrid vs. Deportivo Alaves (9 PM). FC Barcelona will play their match on Wednesday, hosting Getafe (9 PM, live coverage on Sport.pl).
