Donald Trump on Polish Television: I Love the Poles, the Other Side Doesn't Like Them

"I love the Poles. The relationship with Poles is extraordinary. I hope they go out and vote for me," said Donald Trump in an interview with Telewizja Republika. This television channel, since its inception, has been aimed primarily at viewers with conservative views. The founders of the station were inspired by the American channel Fox News.

What happened: On Monday evening, Telewizja Republika aired an interview with Donald Trump. The conversation was conducted by Michał Rachoń. The journalist had previously promoted the interview on social media, writing, "Straight from Trump Tower." At the beginning of the interview, the journalist asked Trump for a message to Polish-American voters. "I love the Poles, as you know, I gave a speech in Warsaw. The relationship with Poles is extraordinary. I hope they go out and vote for me because the other side doesn’t like the Poles, they don’t like religion, and they don’t like anything," said the former US president. Trump stated that he "should win the majority of the Polish vote".

Donald Trump insults Kamala Harris: The politician argued that no one has ever done as much for the Poles as he has. He also accused Kamala Harris of lying. "They visit a community and say, 'Trump doesn’t like you.' Poles love me, and I love the Poles," Trump said. He claimed that Harris is "a person with a low IQ." He also argued that the war in Ukraine would not have happened if he had been in power. "It happened because we have incompetent leadership in the United States," he said. "There is no way the war in Ukraine would have happened. And that threatens Poland. As they say: you're next. We can't let that happen," he added.

Accusations of fraud: The candidate in the elections and former president encouraged people to vote for him. He also said that the Democrats took away the nomination from Joe Biden and "put in that Marxist." He argued that his support in the polls is growing. "They (the Democrats) cheat like hell in elections. Without the cheating, I wouldn’t even need to run a campaign, but they cheat hard," Trump said.
