Robert Lewandowski was the biggest star at the awards ceremony honoring the best Polish athletes. During the event, he also disclosed that he had joined the group of investors involved in the "Polish Olympic Champions Estate" project. Properties will be built near Warsaw as part of the rewards for Poland’s medalists from this year's Olympics. Over time, the apartments will be handed over to Olympic champion Aleksandra Mirosław, as well as silver medalists Klaudia Zwolińska, Julia Szeremeta, and Daria Pikulik.
The City of Polish Olympic Champions project was presented by the developer on Monday, October 7, 2024, at the Norblin Factory. The estate will be located near the Kabaty Forest and will feature its own park, climbing center, tennis courts, various sports fields, a nursery, kindergarten, school, and several eco-friendly solutions. Although details about the apartment sizes and the handover date for the Olympic medalists are not yet known, one surprising piece of news emerged. During the awards ceremony for Poland's top athletes, Robert Lewandowski took the stage and revealed that he is one of the investors in the project.
The idea for this city is something at a European level. It’s a project that will be impressive... From the beginning, this project seemed interesting to me. The city will have facilities for many sports, and parents will be able to save a lot of time because they won’t have to drive their kids to sports activities; they’ll be right in their neighborhood. The only one who might not be happy is Bartosz Zmarzlik, as there won’t be a speedway track. But there will be plenty of other arenas
- the footballer said, as quoted by Noizz.
Lewandowski has been involved in real estate projects for years, and according to Paweł Malinowski, president of Profbud, his influence on this investment could be significant.
Robert had a substantial impact on the final design of the estate. He strongly encouraged us to build even more padel courts, as he has recently become a fan of the sport. In the end, there will be around 20 padel courts in the estate
- admitted the president of the Profbud development company, as quoted by WP SportoweFakty.
It is known that the price per square meter in this estate will range from 12,000 to 15,000 złoty, indicating a focus on high standards. The total cost of the "Polish Olympic Champions Estate" project is expected to reach two billion złoty. The first properties are expected to be completed in about four years, with around 2,000 apartments being built initially. As announced, Olympic champion Aleksandra Mirosław will receive a two-room apartment, while the ones designated for the silver medalists will be slightly smaller.
