Is This How Marilyn and Elvis Would Look if They Were Still Alive? Their Portraits Were Revealed: "A Little Unsettling"

If you've ever wondered how famous people would look today if they were still alive, you no longer need to imagine. Thanks to artificial intelligence, a graphic artist has created portraits of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley, among others, who left this world too soon. The realism of these images might give you goosebumps.

Artificial intelligence continues to amaze us, as it allows for the realization of even the most surreal ideas and visions. A few months ago, a video was posted on the YouTube channel Inside Edition showcasing AI-generated portraits of deceased stars, illustrating how they might look today if history had taken a different course.

This Is How These Stars Would Look if They Were Still Alive - Internet Users Divided

The project, titled "Have You Ever Wondered What Some Celebrities Would Look Like if They Were Still Alive," was created by American graphic artist Micah Daigle. Using artificial intelligence, he generated unique portraits of well-known figures from the worlds of culture and politics.

One of the figures presented is the King of Rock 'n' Roll, Elvis Presley, who passed away in mid-August 1977 at just 42 years old. The artist also included a portrait of the true cinematic sex symbol, Marilyn Monroe, who died over six decades ago due to a drug overdose at the age of 36. The collection also features John Lennon, the Beatles' lead singer, who was murdered in late 1980, and one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, Jimi Hendrix.

While the portraits sparked significant interest, they didn’t appeal to everyone. Some viewers felt that the artist's imagination went too far and that some stars barely resembled their younger selves. In the comments, some people even compared the portraits to other famous figures.

Elvis Presley went from a handsome playboy to an average Italian gangster.
Am I the only one who thinks John Lennon would look like a Hobbit?
This looks unsettling.

Princess Diana Has Been Gone for Over a Quarter of a Century - Here’s How She Might Look Today

A substantial portion of the project also focused on the British royal family, particularly Princess Diana, who tragically died in a car accident on August 21, 1997, in Paris. However, the portrait of the late Princess of Wales, often referred to as the "Queen of Hearts," did not sit well with many of her fans.

"I don't think Diana would look like this at 62. She looks more like 82" - commented one viewer. The artist also visualized how Prince George might look at 20 years old, along with his younger siblings. What do you think of this project?
